What is Content Curation?

Curated content is content from other businesses, brands, or people that you then share on your own social media pages. Being able to curate relevant and interesting content for your audience is an effective content strategy for your brand.

What are the benefits of content curation?

Coming up with content day in and day out for your social media is time-consuming and not always a cost-effective way to spend your day-to-day work day. And if you’re on multiple social media platforms, there is a lot of pressure to make high-quality content across all platforms and that’s just not possible when you’ve got multiple accounts. 

That’s where content curation comes in. It helps you maintain consistency and great-quality content. Some of the benefits of content curation are:

Networking possibilities. This is a huge one! When you share content from other businesses, brands, or people, you start a relationship with them that can help you build future opportunities and collaborations with them.

Shake up your content calendar. People follow you for a reason and it’s definitely for your ideas and opinions, but sometimes it’s nice to hear from other experts in the field. Sharing content from others in your industry that you may or may not agree with is a great way to have content consistently posted but also helps diversify your content calendar, while also engaging your audience in a new way.
